Cyclone Bangladesh

Kindly note that the Cyclonic Storm “KOMEN” over northeast bay and adjoining Bangladesh coast is centered at 75 Km southwest of Chittagong Port now. It is likely to cross Bangladesh coast in the afternoon.

Port operation has been suspended from 005 hours and only scheduled outgoing vessels will sail out while incoming movement will be cancelled. Vessels at berth are kept standby as advised by Port Control. The Pilots are also advised to be kept standby.

Exact delay is unknown at this moment but as usual you will be kept up to date by your operations contact if any specific shipment is involved.
