Who are we?

Ritra Cargo celebrated its 35th anniversary in the summer of 2023. What a fantastic milestone! Needless to say, Team Ritra Cargo marked the occasion in a big way. After all, a party is well-deserved after all the hard work.

Amsterdam and Rotterdam offices

The second office in Amsterdam Oude Meer was opened fairly soon after the Rotterdam Waalhaven office. The Amsterdam Ritra team focused entirely on air freight forwarding. The beautiful, unobstructed view of Schiphol’s runway makes this a unique location, where a permanent team of 6 veteran employees has been at your service for every specialist question for years: no request is too much for them.

Now & later

By now, team Ritra has grown into an organisation of 40 employees. Looking forward rather than looking back is typical of director/co-owner Martijn Berghout and his team. As impatient and innovative as we are, we always keep our eyes open and monitor new developments closely: whether it concerns movements in the logistics market or in the field of ICT, we are proud to be a progressive freight forwarder. We may not be the biggest, but we are certainly the most personal.

And our anniversary year 2023 was appropriately characterised by focusing on the future outlook rather than the past. Of course we are proud of what has been achieved – after all, what a fantastic company and team we have! But above all, we are very excited to kick off the next 35 years with you and each other! And it goes without saying that the true Ritra traditions, such as Christmas drinks, the annual outing, customer visits to Futureland and bright spring blooms, will be on the agenda for sure.
