You know us mainly for sea and air freight to and from Asia. But our range of services and capabilities is much bigger than that. Today we would like to tell you more about how we can help with your transport to and from Turkey. Where do you start, what are the options and who arranges what?

Where do I start?

Curious about the possibilities, but not sure where to start? You don’t have to do it alone. When transporting goods to and from Turkey, it is wise to call on an experienced forwarder. Team Ritra will of course be happy to help. In this respect, good contacts with our agents in Izmir and Istanbul are hugely valuable.

We listen to your wishes and implement them by taking complete care of your road, sea or air freight shipment. Do you need to take actions when importing products from Turkey? For example, making a customs declaration for your import shipment? Then we will gladly take care of that too.

Modalities and possibilities

We have been working with our agencies for a long time. The sea and air freight shipments from Turkey travel to the Netherlands, but also to other destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, the United States, South America and South Africa.

We also provide road transport from Istanbul to the Netherlands using LTL (Less Than Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload). We see ourselves as an important link between clients and carriers. The fact that our agency also has a Dutch point of contact is a great advantage for all parties involved.

Thanks to our warm relationship with the local agents, we are well aware of what’s going on in Turkey. It goes without saying that this is highly valuable when establishing good agreements with your Turkish suppliers.

Naturally, Team Ritra also offers you one permanent contact for all your Turkish shipments. Martin Stigter has been happily handling them for years and during this time has made many contacts.
