Ritra & Emcon: A Strong Partnership for Years

You may know us primarily as a forwarder with extensive expertise in fashion & retail, housewares, and automotive. But we are active in many other markets as well, including the metal industry. One of our valued clients in this sector is Emcon, a company based in Panningen, Limburg. Recently, Emcon’s Roger Raijmakers visited Rotterdam, naturally making a stop at Albert Plesmanweg 61C. 

Introducing Emcon

Emcon is a seasoned partner in industrial supply, low-cost sourcing, and strategic purchasing across Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. A Limburg company through and through, that holds personal service, the best possible care, and customisation in the highest regard.

Founded in 2011 by Jan Raijmakers and Johan Peeters, Emcon became a Ritra Cargo client in 2012. Over the years, the company has booked countless shipments through their dedicated contact, Dennis de Vos. For the past three years, daily communications have increasingly been handled by Roger Raijmakers, Jan’s son. It was at Roger and Dennis’s initiative that, despite the considerable distance, a meeting was organised in Rotterdam to catch up and discuss the latest developments.

It should come as no surprise that Emcon and Ritra Cargo have worked so closely together since 2012. Both companies value clear communication, swift decision-making, and transparent operations.
