At the beginning of July it was finally time to go on a carefree business trip again! This time Istanbul was on the agenda. Together with my colleague Lindsey Schuurmans I have visited several agents and gave them presentations about our Tracos system.

Tracos is Ritra Cargo’s online platform to which all stakeholders are connected and where our customers can manage and monitor all their actual, present and previous shipments. Our agents will now also be able to start working with/in our Tracos system. Participating to Tracos will give them a well-organized overview while they are performing their daily, operational activities.

We have also discussed the different modes of transport and visited their tidy warehouse, which we have been happy to use for quite some time now. All agents have their own expertise. While one agent is perfectly suited to handle your FTL, LTL and trucking cargo from Turkey to the Netherlands, the other one is specialized in FCL and LCL ocean freight. Apart from the regular business to Rotterdam, their activities also cover transport to several other destinations in the U.S.A, South Africa and China.

In short, it was a very positive visit!
