Typhoon In-Fa halts export from Shanghai and Ningbo

The east coast of China is currently in the grips of typhoon In-Fa. The storm, which already wreaked havoc in central China, hit land in the east of China on Sunday.

A state of emergency is currently in place for the entire region. This means our agencies in Ningbo and Shanghai are closed. Staff members are working from home. In addition, all operational activities have been suspended. Flights and train services have been cancelled and ports are closed.

Please bear in mind that communication within and with the affected region is difficult right now. The restrictions described above will continue at least until the government lifts the state of emergency.
